I haven't written a journal here since 2006. Today's the day. It's strange coming back here, because I was big into deviantART back when I was with Hannah. So many things here mention her. I guess I was pretty crazy for her. Things change. I don't really have any regrets, but that I haven't found anyone since then. I've tried, but I haven't had a relationship since first semester of freshman year. I'd better get on the ball. :)

I missed Sweeney Todd, one of my favorite musicals, today. I'm a bit mad at myself, but I'll get over it.

I'm listening to Buddy Wakefield right now, and I never get enough. I discovered Jean Heath on YouTube. One of his best.

Since I haven't been on here for a while, is there anything you want to know? I'll answer any questions.

I guess while I wait for the questions, I'll pick some random things about my life to tell you.

READY, SET, GO:

+ I live in a house with six other people. We have five bathrooms, four kitchens and three floors (plus basement).
+ As some of you know, I wrote a play that was performed back in 2007 (I won a contest.). I have been working on more material, and this summer I am attempting to put on a night of my original one-act plays and monologues. We'll see where the money comes from.
+ I make music. Lots of music. [link]
+ I run a record label that has released almost 70 albums, EPs, etc. Mostly for free. [link]
+ I have lots of new friends and have been lucky enough to stay in contact with many old friends when possible.
+ Finally got a new phone after almost three years.
+ I am applying to spend next year in Norway.
+ I'm on track to graduate with a double major in Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies (I speak Norwegian.).
+ I need a job.
+ I'm only taking 13 credits this semester. This might be one of the most challenging semesters yet, but the most rewarding. I take satisfaction in knowing my classes would be impossible for those without the proper background.
+ I own a hookah.

Well, that's all I can say for now. I'm off to read for my Hamsun & the 20th Century Norwegian Novel course.
